I think in this case average of Bahrain and Imola? I'm not sure but according to Regulation:
"In case the forum temporary closes during a race week and you are unable to submit your entry, your average score from past rounds will be used."

That is my bad for not copying over the right year's rules. A.J. last weekend was given his Bahrain picks again, as per this post:

No, there's 3 races per year where you can forget your entries and your previous choices will be substituted.

This same rule was added for the qualifying game and evidently I forgot to copy it across. That's been fixed now. It's fairer than taking an average, which has been known to give a player a win in a race they forgot to enter.

Aside from the last-minute fight over the fastest lap, Hamilton seemed to have the edge all weekend over Verstappen. It was a shame for Bottas that he couldn't extract the same pace from the sister Mercedes, but ultimately that failure has kept the championship about as close as possible. It certainly lent itself to a high scoring round for us!

One new rule, designed to help players who miss a weekend or two, sees any missed rounds (up to 3) using the previous weekend's predictions to cover you. This way I hope to minimise players being eliminated from contention by mistakes, which happened to a couple of players last year. Any more than 3 rounds, however, and you start to score 0 for the extra missed races.

Iroically this was a 78 point improvement on the last race. He's still only 17th overall.

But it's not entirely fair to those who remember to make their entries. Everyone has 2 weeks typically to register their entry which takes about 5 minutes.

Previous entry being carried forward can also be unfair. Maybe that set of 10 names in a specific order didn't make a big score in the last race but do so in this race inspite of not actively been entered.

I suggest for such entries, the scoring should be cut down to 50%. Saying so as there could be a genuine reason to forget but nonetheless a 50% deduction of the score seems fair.

50 % maybe is little bit too harsh but at least 75 % looks more fair. Nevetheless the idea is for next season because we shouldn't change the rules durin' present one. It's just nice fun now.
