A more normal race this week saw more normal scores with a very tight result. Hardly surprisingly no-one forsaw Ferrari's disasterous performance; Mclaren's 2nd straight fastest lap might have been more predictable - but no-one did. Judging from the rush of tyre changes towards the end of the race as drivers tried for the fastest lap, it may by harder to forecast than I thought! Several entrants got 4 teams right but no-one got 5.

Apparently post-race Renault protested the Racing Point car, for being too similar to last year's Mercedes. The result may be subject to changes but as the required hearing has not been scheduled yet it won't be for some time.

A very close result in Hungary sees Adro783 win by 1 pt from Icemanjee1. Five of us got the full 5pt haul for Mercedes, but that didn't prove decisive. With Mclaren under-performing those who scored highest did well with Renault, Williams and Alpha Tauri. The high finishing rate meant those of us who plumped for nf.s didn't profit from it this time.

Overall, mediocre results for me and Remmirath see a shake-up in the championship points table, with Adro783 taking the lead there too, but it's still very close after 3 rounds.

A race which was looking pretty uneventful suddenly came alive in the final few laps with tyre failures upsetting the top order. Not surprisingly no-one scored that many points for the top teams; only Herb getting 3pts for Red Bull. But Adro783 kept up his winning streak, getting 4 of the back 5 teams correct, only missing out on Racing Point. Icemanjee1 got 3 of them right, Remmirath 2. The rest of us had to make do with 1 pointers.

In the Championship overall it means Adro783 strengthens his lead from Icemanjee1 with Remmirath a clear 3rd. The gap to P-F1 Mod in 4th opens to 5pts, with the rest of us still close together.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull's better tyre use gave them an unexpected win over Mercedes - unsurprisingly, forecast by no-one; although those of us who had a Mercedes fastest lap picked up 3 for them. Not surprisingly no-one scored that many points for the top teams; again it was those who picked the lower ranked teams did best, Exediron and Herb alone forecasting Haas right with an 'nf'. Only Exediron got 5 teams right, taking the win. Herb and I got 4. Adro783 and Icemanjee1 were the only entrants to forsee Vettel's dismal result and score 3 for Ferrari.

In the Championship overall the top 3 remain the same but are now only covered by 1pt. The gap to the pack opens to 6pts. Exediron's win lifts him to 8th place.
