The race didn't get started until nearly 10 laps due to safety cars, and from then it was dictated by tyres. Bottas's bizarre strategy meant no-one scored well with Mercedes. Adro783 alone had Red Bull for fastest lap, netting 3pts for them. Ferrari did as most of us predicted. But the battle for the top 10 didn't go according to any of our scripts, with only Adro783 and I getting 3 for Alpha Tauri amongst those teams. Haas and Alfa Romeo scored a few people 3pts but no-one had both Williams in the 14's. So Icemanjee1 takes his 6th win in a photo finish, with a 4-way tie for second place.

In the Championship Icemanjee1's lead extends by 3 to 19pts. Fountoukos13 retakes 7th place from P-F1 Mod.

Another chaotic and incident packed race which failed to provide a fairy tale ending for Russell gave us a 3 man podium for once. Exediron and I were the only entrants to pick a Racing Point podium, but no-one had Perez to win or a Renault podium. With the big 3 teams self-destructing in one way or another it was those who got Mclaren, Alpha Tauri, Alfa Romeo and Haas right who did best. Jenson's Understeer and I bagged 3 of them to take the top 2 places. Fountoukos13, Exediron and Herb each got 2 right.

In the Championship Icemanjee1's lead is trimmed by 5 to 14pts. Remmirath ties 3rd place with Adro783.

The final round, Round 17 is the Abu Dhabi GP on Dec 13th.

As the outcome looks fairly clear for 1st and 2nd places I'm not planning for those in contention to send Abu Dhabi entries secretly, but if anyone does want to do this please let me know and we'll organise it.

A pretty dull race to end the season gave Verstappen an overdue win. A close result for us provided Fountoukos13 with a second win, as the only one to get 4 teams right - Alpha Tauri plus the back 3. Jenson's Understeer and Icemanjee1 shared the podium, Giving Jenson the Most Podiums trophy. Exediron alone got Ferrari right, and I alone got Renault right. Predictably no-one had Red Bull to win, but Mclaren to double top six was perhaps forecastable - again no-one did though.

In the Championship Icemanjee1's lead increases by 1 to 15pts. Jenson's podium means he jumps up to third, with Remmirath falling to 5th.

Thanks Tim and everyone for the competition. I looked forward to seeing how I went after each race. Well down to Icemanjee1 for winning the competition.

I always seem to find way to miss out on a podium finish when in a decent position late in seasons on these type of sporting predictor competitions . I guess a consolation is to walk away with two minor trophies, representing each end of the real grid.
