If anyone's interested, we've had 86 predictions submitted so far this season and only 10 of them have included someone other than Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen. Perhaps wisely as they have shared the podium at three of the first five races. Would have been four if Bottas hadn't had his tyre failure at Silverstone 1.

Spanish Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton took a commanding win in the Spanish Grand Prix. Max Verstappen finished ahead of at least one Mercedes for the fourth race in a row ahead of Valtteri Bottas.

Hamilton got off the line well and held the lead into turn one whilst Verstappen was able to move ahead of Bottas as the Fin dropped down to fourth behind Stroll. Early on, Verstappen was able to stay within a couple of seconds of Hamilton but as the first stint went on, Hamilton was able to stretch his lead to around 8 seconds. Bottas was able to pass Stroll for P3 on lap five and started to reduce his deficit to Verstappen.

The gap closed after the first round of stops before Hamilton again stretched his lead. Verstappen stopped for a second time to see off the undercut threat and Bottas responded by putting on the soft tyres but was not able to close the gap to Verstappen.

Well done to Remmirath, Mod Titanium, Icemanjee1, Mayhem and Espo for correctly predicting a perfect podium! Remmirah and Mod Titanium extend their lead at the top of the championship with Icemanjee1 jumping up to third whilst Mayhem and Espo jump up from near the bottom to sixth and seventh.

With big points on offer due to a clear front three, there is still time for plenty of movement in both the Individual and Team standings.

A week off now before we move onto Spa for some engine mode related fun!

This year feels like it'll have comfortably the least variation in terms of predictions since this game began. Not only is there a clear and obvious front 3, but it seems like the only real consideration is which order to put Max and Valtteri behind Lewis in P1, and that the winner will be the person who gets that decision right the most.
