Same here, a full 2 hours before qualificaiton, and I can't edit predictions, either.

Actually, I can't even see my predictions from Weds. All I can see are my predictions from Australia, mis-labeled as Bahrain.

What a shambles.

I appreciate Autosport is probably working (and will forever work) on a skeleton crew, but it's pretty disappointing tipping for round 2 were unavailable.

All the more worse given the Australia tips look very different to the Bahrain ones.

I think it's best if we (all of those who're having issues making predictions) make our predictions here. It would be unofficial in a way as we aren't doing it on the app but I love this game too much. It sucks as I've missed 2 rounds now.

I suppose we can take a vote on the possibility of holding a legacy championship, taken here and run according to the old rules (10 points correct, 5 one place off, 2 two places off, bonuses as they used to be)?
PICK 10 COMPETITION (6 wins, 18 podiums): 3rd in 2016
TOP THREE CHAMPIONSHIP (No Limit Excedrin Racing): Champions in 2015 & 2018 | 2nd in 2017 & 2019

So far, the only good thing I see in this new version of the game is the quick scoring updates... points achieved are posted less than 12 hours after the race. The game last year took 2-3 days...

Bahrain update

Image
Source : https://m.dw.com/image/48137484_303.jpg

Coming into Bahrain Ferrari had a lot to prove and they dug their heals in the dirt right out of the gate leading all practice sessions. Both of their drivers taking turns at the top of the charts leaving the disappointment of Melbourne in their wake.

As the temperatures cooled down things were heating up in qualifying as Charles Leclerc was setting blistering times putting seconds between him and Lewis Hamilton but on the final runs it was leclerc who continued his momentum claiming his maiden pole for the Scuderia but would this 1 lap pace translate to Ferrari win????

At lights out it was Sebastian Vettel who got the jump and was leading after turn one with leclerc falling down to 3rd and looking a bit shaky. As the tires started to come alive, leclerc turned up the heat dispatching Valtteri bottas for 2nd place and started reeling in his teammate who was 2 seconds ahead. Just 5 laps later leclerc radioed “I am faster” and took back the lead which was rightfully his. As leclerc disappeared into the night the race was now on for 2nd as Vettel looked in reach of Hamilton who went for the undercut and came out ahead with soft tires but that wouldn’t be the end of that battle as the two rivals would cross paths at the next stint with Vettel just ahead of Hamilton. The two would go wheel to wheel for 2 laps and once again Vettel feeling the pressure of Hamilton breathing down his neck has an unforced error gifting 2nd place to the merc. But the Ferrari’s where just the gift that kept on giving as bad luck would strike leclerc with 11 laps to go.

After a masterclass drive all race long leclerc would suffer MGUH engine failure and ultimately lose the lead of the race to Hamilton. Truly a heart breaker for Charles Leclerc after such a great performance it which saw him finish 3rd under the safety car.

We have discussed this before and the majority agree that the app isn’t really suiting this game. I wanted to give the app another go after the update but it wasn’t much help imo. So starting as of the next GP which is China ALL PREDICTIONS ARE TO BE POSTED IN THIS THREAD

• Each member will post there top 10 prediction and race event predictions of (pole, fastest lap, Most positions gained) i will do the scoring based on the system in the original post in this thread.

DEADLINE IS 10min before QUALIFYING. If you are making changes/ edits to your predictions make a new post DO NOT EDIT. Also I strongly recommend placing time marker ex (submitted @ ___am) if you are posting morning qualifying. Anything posted after qualifying will not be counted

I'm in. Hopefully my season can stop unraveling now, since I'm predicting the top places with more accuracy than the bottom! Although that was mostly due to the Renault double failure last time out...

For the first time ever this year, I've been able to make my prediction without any hassle. Only issue is once You fill a position, it can't be changed individually. Only Clear All option is there which isn't practical to erase all entries just for making one change.

@ bancieri, since this is the first entry after we switched to this format of entry. I will allow you to post a screen shot of your prediction from the app as proof you made the deadline. I need to see that it was entered before qualifying or this entry will not be valid as it was posted after the cut off.

@ everyone; Moving forward if you miss the cut off entries will not be allowed in any way, shape or form so be very mindful of the deadlines. If you fail to enter a prediction on time I will use your previous race entry to tally your score.

China update

Image
Source: https://cdn-1.motorsport.com/images/amp ... race-2.jpg

Coming into China everyone was wondering whether the Ferrari pace was here to stay or if it was just a one off. In practice Ferrari picked up where they left off and topped the charts in both fp1 & fp3 but the race pace advantage rested with their rivals Mercedes. But we’re Ferrari holding back the ponies???

In qualifying we found out very quickly the 1 lap pace was also on the merc side. Valtteri bottas was the man on a mission, demonstrating a blistering pace leaving everyone in his wake but as the session progressed so did the pace of Lewis Hamilton. Lewis was on pace to edge out his teammate in the final runs but it was not to be as Valtteri bottas topped the chart.

On race day it was a merc 1-2 lock out with the boys in red in hot pursuit. At lights out Hamilton got out to a clean launch getting the jump on bottas followed by leclerc getting a jump on Vettel. As the Mercs started pulling away it became quite clear that Ferrari have a storm brewing as both Vettel & leclerc felt they were being held up by the other at different stages in the opening stint. The priority was given to Vettel which as a result opened the door for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to split the red cars with the undercut. At the front Lewis Hamilton drove a smooth error free race with Mercedes clinching another 1-2 finish. Notable mention goes to Alex Albon for a great recovery drive coming through the field to finish in the points.

Congratulations to unlikeuday on scoring their first win of the season!!!
