Rules are simple, pick 10 drivers you think will finish the race in the points and place them in the order of which you think they will finish. Points are awarded according to the difference your selection is from the race result, providing the selected drivers score points.
o Picking driver in correct place earns 25 points.
o One place out earns 18 points.
o Two places out earns 15 points.
o Three places out earns 12 points.
o Four places out earns 10 points.
o Five places out earns 8 points.
o Six places out earns 6 points.
o Seven places out earns 4 point.
o Eight places out earns 2 point.
o Nine places out earns 1 point.
Maximum points per race is 250.
Example for the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix:
Tip / Result: Points
1: Rosberg / 14th: 0 points
2: Hamilton / 1st: 18 points
3: Bottas / 3rd: 25 points
4: Ricciardo / 4th: 25 points
5: Massa / 2nd: 12 points
6: Vettel / 8th: 15 points
7: Alonso / 9th: 15 points
8: Button / 5th: 12 points
9: Raikkonen / 10th: 18 points
10: Magnussen / 11th: 0 points
Therefore my overall score for Abu Dhabi would be:
140 points
The person who has the most points by the end of the season wins the championship.
Your picks must be entered before Friday Practice 1 and can be changed any time before the session starts (just be sure to let me know). Any late picks will incur a penalty depending on how many sessions have passed, note that one second late is still late.
-15 points for FP1
-18 points for FP2
-25 points for FP3
-DSQ for Qual
In case the forum temporary closes during a race week and you are unable to submit your entry, your average score from past rounds will be used.
A further note concerns players that have a habit of forgetting their entries, for the most part because of work commitment it seems, I would advise such players to submit their entries soon after the last GP, these entries then can easily be edited nearer the race weekend if needs be.
What are you waiting for? You have 13 days, 7 hours and 36 minutes until Practice 1 of the Melbourne Grand Prix!
@Moderators: Can I kindly ask you to postpone moving this topic to the "Games" section as I would like to attract as many members as possible at least until Melbourne ?!
