Re: CarlPotter's Top Three Championship 2019
Congrats Exediron and as always, thanks for running it and the write ups you do for each race. Thanks remmirath for teaming up with me... pretty cool we took the team championship. If you’re up for it, maybe we could try to repeat next season.
Re: CarlPotter's Top Three Championship 2019
Congratulations Exediron and Drive Sauber!!
Thank you Mayhem for teaming up with me again. I feel like Vettel, my mind was not in it fully, as busy with personal schedules :p. Hope the partnership continues and we can do better next year.

Re: CarlPotter's Top Three Championship 2019
Since we've entered the month of February, I thought it was about time to post this...
I've been curating this competition for four years now, beginning with the 2016 season. This is my favorite of the P-F1 competitions, and I've had a blast competing in it (and being lucky enough to usually do well), and I'd very much like for it to continue in the future.
Big HOWEVER -- I started to notice in 2018 that it was becoming a lot to deal with after a GP to get the update all written up and posted the same day, and last year I missed doing that quite a few times. It's gotten to the point where I view having to do the updates as a stress I don't need on Grand Prix weekends.
In short, I'm burned out of curating the Top Three Championship, and I'm calling time. I'd very much like someone else to step forward and take over -- you don't need to feel that you have to copy my style of running it, you can feel free to have your own! -- but if nobody does, then I'm afraid it will be going on hiatus for the year 2020.
Cheers,
Exediron
(I am willing to help anyone who takes over get on their feet with any questions they might have at first)

Re: CarlPotter's Top Three Championship 2019
If anyone else volunteers then feel free to ignore this, but I'm happy to take over if needed.
If there's any spreadsheets etc, email them to me and I'll get things set up for the year.
Thanks for looking after this for the last 4 years!

I use a horridly antiquated Word 2003 document, so you're probably better off making a new one.

Haha, I used pen and paper for the Pick 10 last year, so...

Hey Exediron,
Thanks for running this competition, possibly one of the more frustrating one's on the forum!
I'm happy to take this over this year to ensure the competition keeps running
This probably won't be a problem as I imagine there will be no Chinese GP/replacement race on the 19th April, but I'm going away that day for 11 days so the results would either be late or a volunteer would need to do them instead.

Re: CarlPotter's Top Three Championship 2019
Since P-F1 Mod already runs at least one other competition on the forum, I'll give you the nod now so you have time to get set up for the season.JN23 wrote:Hey Exediron,

I typically start the thread after the first week of winter testing, so that everyone has time to notice it and get registered. All the information you should actually need is contained in the first few posts of the thread itself, but I'm absolutely here for any questions you have to get things up and running.
Thanks for volunteering to keep this going!

Thanks both of you. I'm happy to step in to do the missing round if necessary, but as you say it's probably irrelevant with the coronavirus.
