Heard a great line the other day. Was on the sofa with my girlfriend, winding up her flatmate. She turns round to tell me I'm a sugarplum, gets as far as the W, sees me and Nicky holding hnds, and starts saying "aww" instead.

Therefore the funniest moment of the week so far is the moment I learned that I'm a "twaww".

Just spent the weekend with my sister. Went to Brum Christmas markets and the zoo and saw a baby red panda.

Red pandas are just adorable!

I've almost finished writing out my Christmas cards for this year - managed to forget my aunt, which wasn't too clever of me!

I spent £3 on a Disney card for my girlfriend, which was 50% more than I spent on the rest of the cards combined, so I feel I've done something right for once! now to find her a second present, having already impulse-bought her some leopard-print earmuffs when we went to Tesco to shop for my birthday.

Turns out I can save a little bit of cash on a family members prezzie today...which is useful as I need to buy 3 Xmas prezzies and mum's Birthday present with the one bit of disability benefit I get between now and Xmas day.

Survived going Xmas shopping...plus, while I was buying my mother's Xmas present, I had the woman behind me in he queue slide her iPhone over to the cashier and have her use the voucher on the screen... Which got me £10 off the bill...completely out of the blue as well... Which was HIGHLY useful.

Must find the box set of Sabrina...

I mean er, my week so far has been EPIC.

Me, the girlfriend and her flatmates had Christmas last night. I got an F1 car keyring, with my name engraved on the base. There were other things too, but that kind of took priority!

Then in the pub later that night, a quarter of one of my favourite bands invited me to record a track with them in the new year :D

Now all I need to do is finish learning to play the keyboard...!

Congrats mate. I have 2.5 years left of funding, hope mine goes as well as yours.

Anyway, I'm in a all hail the mods good mood tonight, I tell ye! I've been having a pretty bad time of it lately. No one wants to shag me, work has been kicking my pickle, and I've just generally been feeling a bit down. But today, I had a nice chat with my boss, went for a curry with mates and stayed up drinking until after 3am with my teo best mates. And you know what, it puts my own fairy cakes in perspective. I know my problems are bullshit in the terms of people suffering real hardship. I'm a middle class person, with parents who took care of him and friends who love him. And sometimes, stepping back and looking at your fairy cakes is all you need to wake you up and realise that you may not be important in the grandest sense but you do matter. Someone somewhere cares. I realised tonight that probably the 5 best times I have ever had feature bith of my best pals. It ranges from drinking, to camping to just sitting our pickles down and chatting about whatever fairy cakes came up. That is solid. I love my pals. I wouldn't trade them and you know what I'm pretty all hail the mods positive about my life. While things have gone differently to what I had expected, who cares. If given the chance to change an aspect of my life, I wouldn't. Because fairy cakes is so damn good I wouldn't want to mess it all up and risk existing without the greatness that I have. I have a great time, and regularly too. I realise I need to cheer the chocolate fudge cake up and notice that life isn't a sitcom. It isn't a great night every night. But it is a great night some nights, and that's all I really need.

I also noticed my Lewis Hamilton flag is upside down, unless he was champion in '80...

(sorry for bad language.)

I won an iPad in a radio comp. A day after I bought one.

I dunno if that's lucky or unlucky or what. After I won that Vettel cap last week I think I'll call it lucky. Christmas has become very jolly indeed! :D

Merry Christmas peeps.

talking about nephews, mine was born 2 days ago! although he was born very premature (after 29 weeks)
today i found he doesn't like the artificial respirator and wants to breath on his own! which is grand.

its astonishing what babies can do nowadays, i mean 29 weeks is un real

it will be some time until i get to see him, as he's under observation and such

Just before Christmas, purely by accident I discovered just over £200 in my Pay Pal account. Turned out a couple of my photos had been used for magazine advertising and websites – the money was my cut of the royalties from Getty Images.

Very nice surprise but totally random.

I actually prefer the Hockenheimring, but it's a relief to hear that they got their financial troubles sorted out for now. :)
