Former Yankee great Melvin Leon "Mel" Stottlemyre. a 5-time World Series champion as a pitching coach and 5-time all-star has succumbed from bone marrow cancer this past Sunday. He also coached for the Mets guiding the trio of pitchers (Dwight Gooden, Ron Darling and Sid Fernandez) to a World Series Title in 1986 for his 1st championship. Mel was 77.

Legendary R & B singer James Ingram ( Shown with former duet partner Patti Austin in 1997) 1 of Quincy Jones proteges that defined the the new path of romantic music with his mellow voice during the 80s, has passed from a brain disease, according to legendary choreographer and former dancer and life partner Debbie Allen.

Ingram will also be remembered with his collaborations along with Austin, Linda Ronstadt, and Michael McDonald.

The 2-time Grammy Winner was 66.

Hall-of-Fame and former College Hockey referee turned MLB Umpire Jim McKean who was also a back-up QB and punter for the CFL Saskatchewan Roughriders where he won a Grey Cup in 1966, has passed suddenly from a heart attack at his home in St Petersburg, Fla.

Jim was 73.

Rosemary was 65.

Famed film producer Andrew G. Vajna: well known for the Rambo and Terminator franchises ( Left shown with Arnold Schwarznegger ), passed away on January 20th after a long illness at his home in Budapest.

Other credits include Total Recall (1991), Judge Dredd, Narrow Margin, Air America, and Evita among others.

Vajna was 74.

Daytime Soap actor Kristoff St. John after he was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills, Calif. area. Back in 2014, St. John was dealing with the loss of his son at a mental facility.

Kristoff was 52.

A sad end for the search. Autopsy have confirmed of the ID of Argentinian soccer player Emiliano Sala who disappeared in the English channel after his plane disappeared. He and pilot David Ibbotson were the only individuals on board.

Sala was 28.

1 month after losing Mean Gene Okerlund, the WWE have lost a Triple-Crown winner and a jobber. Pedro Morales has lost his battle to Parkinson's disease at 76. 2 days after former WWE wrestler and jobber Salvatore Bellomo lost his battle to cancer at 67.

George Mendonsa: The Icon of VJ who was seen kissing nurse (The late Greta Zimmer Friedman)at New York's Times Square, has succumbed to injuries after suffering a seizure while living in an assisted living facility in Middleton, Rhode Island. According to the living facility, Mendosa suffered the seizure causing him to fall into the floor.

"The Kiss' will now be eternal. And say hi to Greta, SAILOR. Greta passed away in 2016.

Mendonsa was 95.

Beverly Owen: Former Daytime soap star who then turned into sit-com for 13 episodes as the original Marilyn Munster in The Munsters' 1st season, has succumbed to cancer after her 2 years of her diagnosis. Daugthers Polly and Kate are her known survivors whose father was Sesame Street writer and producer Jon Stone. Stone passed away in 1997. Original actor Butch Patrick and actress Pat Priest (Who came on the last 2 seasons of the series ) are the known survivors.

Mark Hollis: former lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Talk Talk, has passed from a short illness. The former singer formed the band in 1981 and only gone on tour for 10 years before disbanding. Hollis re-appeared in 1998 to produce his solo album before calling it quits to spend more time with his family.

Here is a quote after an interview with UK Guardian:
I choose for my family. Maybe others are capable of doing it, but I can't go on tour and be a good dad at the same time.
He also collaborated with musical outfit UNKLE and Norwegian singer Anja Garbarek.

Hollis was 64.

Also passing away : 4-time Oscar-winning composer Andre Previn. Previn won his awards back to back twice. 2 in the '50s for Best Music in Gigi and Porgy and Bess. Then another back-to-back for Best Score in Irma la Douce and My Fair Lady. Previn would later receive a Grammy for Lifetime Achievment in 2010.

Previn was 89.

The 90210 zip code are in a stunned mourning following the passing of Beverly Hills 90210 star Luke Perry who succumbed on Monday from complications from a stroke that he suffered on February 27th.

The Riverdale star also was credited for his roles in the original "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and a short cameo in "The 5th Element".

Another legend from 80s Wrestling has passed. Christopher Pallies who was better known for his in-ring name - King Kong Bundy. No details are given. Just came in.

Bundy made a special appearance in the Fox sit-com "Married... with Children". Bundy was 61.

A very sad end for a former heartthrob who had a huge downfall in life. Actor Jan-Michael Vincent has succumbed to cardiac arrest. Vincent was 73. His death occurred on February 10th.
