David Deporis, an Oakland singer and songwriter who has devoted his hard work, was robbed and killed after being run over by thief who stole his laptop. While he worked at a café, the thief snatched Dave's laptop. Dave gave pursuit before the thief hopped in an SUV. Dave then jumped into the vehicle trying to stop him before losing his grip. The thief ran him over and fled. The laptop contained all his songs.

And it will be a giant sin if some washed-out singer would steal his songs and make them as theirs.
