I reckon Napoli, if they don't draw Milan. Cavani, Lavezzi and Hamsik is about as fine a front three in Europe as you'll find. Facing Barca who sneak through on a dodgy decision.

As for the Prem:

United have much much more experience of how stressful a title run in can be, and I think City will crack under the pressure. Man Utd are up against Spurs next round of games, and when Utd win, Spurs will only be 4 points ahead of us.

Best of the rest (outside top 6) id say Everton

Really hope two of Wigan/Blackburn/Bolton dont go down, they are close for away matches . But Blackburn have yak upfront and are playing well, and Bolton seem to have more determination than the others.

About Mou in London.. I don't read too much into it. I doubt very much he would end up in CFC again. Would make more sense if 'Arry was set for England and Mou were to énd up in Spurs.

Just watched that on MOTD. The way Suarez went down screaming and holding his leg was a disgrace and it was this reaction that IMO influenced the ref to award the pen as from where he was couldn't have fully seen the "incident". Great 2nd goal from RVP though.

i dislike Suarez more and more....the way he worst cast it you'd have thought he had broken his leg.

RVP is a class player, hopefully arsenal can bring in some players over the summer !

it wasn't aimed at anyone here, just a few of my mates giving me grief is all

i really dislike diving and unfortunately for me, there are Barca players who do it (namely pedro, busquets and alves)

best course of action, get booed by their own fans, show its not acceptable

Yes, the Suarez dive was a disgrace and I'm a Liverpool fan.
He's so gifted as a player, so to do that is like an insult to his talent.

I thought Arsenel were crisp in the 1st half. Easily holding their own against the reds.

But in the 2nd half all Liverpool.
Anyway, it was 3 goals for Arsenel in the end and 3 points

Agreed. It is very easy to stamp out. Retrospective suspensions using video evidence are handed out for all manner of offences, so why not for diving? It is very easy to determine whether a player has dived when you have a slow motion replay and you can watch it again and again, and players will be more reluctant to dive to win a penalty if they know they'll get a ban.

why dont they start using the video REF in football.
I just dont get it honestly...

it would get rid off the diving and provide some additional suspense for the viewing spectacle.

Can someone offer a valid reason why they DONT use video reffing in football.

i agree,the only way it would end is if a ridiculous penalty is imposed on them like a 20 game ban min and if it's only say 5 games left then the ban carries on to the following season,they'd think twice about diving if they know they could risk being banned for the rest of the season and fined.

Imo diving isn't necessarily that bad. It's annoying and frustrating, but there should be measures in place to stop it (competent referees, video evidence), so while UEFA/FIFA refuse to address those issues, people will always try to con the officials. It sucks, but a lot of the time it's difficult to judge in real time.
For me what needs to go first is the awful 'I've got a slight touch on the ball, so I can just go straight through the man' tackles. Football isn't a contact sport, but English teams love a tackle that gets studs on the ball, and sends the man flying.

Anyway agree with the previous that diving needs to be stamped out and I am all for video evidence being used and if found guilty then issue bans. I don't think punishment of a fine would carry much clout footballers these days earn so much money the fines seem like pocket money.

Arsenal nearly pulled it off. Can't believe Van persie missed basically an open goal in the 2nd half. Still overall very well played Arsenal, especially since no one gave them half a chance..
