Good to see Williams getting some funding if the reports are true. Be great to see them back at the front

As long as they go white with the red and blue stripes a la Brabham, Porsche and Lancia...

...then I'll forgive the anteater, we'll have a very pretty car on the grid. ;)

Sounds like a good partnering for Williams, BUT…

Isn't alcohol advertising in sports in question in the UK and some places in Europe? Barcode on the engine cover anyone? LOL
IDK how this will work but I look forward to Williams' livery as they usually produce some of the nicest ones. The FW33 livery (2011) was sophisticated and modern while at the same time, understatedly vintage retro.

Johnny Walker has been associated with McLaren since 2006 and JV puts ads for his alcoholic brands on the FI cars.

With a quick search it seems that France is the only country that flat out bans alcohol advertising in Europe, but is seriously discouraged in the Middle East.
