What do you guys think of Massa's special helmet design? It kinda looks like Raikkonen!

To me it looks like Kimi is already in the car.

Was it during the wait for Q3 that it was shown today? I liked it, and red is not my favourite colour. It reminded me a bit of the 2007 colours on the car.

What does it say on the back? Anyone speak Italian?

Didn't even think about Kimi's old red Ferrari helmets (even though I have two of them literally right behind me on the shelf lol), I was thinking of Schumi's old helmets

It's alright. Beautiful finish. And I like the fact it comes with a little man, standing there all contemplative in the far left of what is a gorgeous gold visor.

But the placement of that Ferrari shield is awkward, the visor hinge impinging upon the poor cavallino's head. And the whole thing is a bit uninspired, frankly. An extremely deep red which doesn't necessarily evoke Ferrari and that decapitated pony are the only things (from the side, at least) which distinguish the design from Massa's livery; by retaining only the outlines of his usualy cross design an opportunity is missed to marry two concepts. Instead we have a design not bold enough to do its own thing, yet still at odds with a philosophy that's been dialled down when it might have been exploited.

Good to see a clear plastic deflected at the back. This of course serves to respect the inherent proportions of the helmet while not distorting the colour scheme... And then they go and stick a solid colour deflected at the top front! Hopeless!
