Post by Ev0lutionz »

Finally after a months break. Phew. These breaks are really too long. Especially when the next race in Monza is also two weeks away. :x

Was it just me or did the on screen graphics say Button on the track map but it was actually Gutierrez?

someone's going to go off at the Bus Stop at this rate. They're slithering around there like puppies on ice.

Hehe yeah "spood beest"

Also I'm not sure Gutierrez realises he is back either. Trundling along like that on the racing line like he was just popping down the shops for some milk. Idiot.

Can't tell much from FP1, although an Alonso win with a FI podium would be great to see at this stage.

hopefully FP2 will tell us more.

Anyone know why the Lotus cars were 4 and 8 seconds off the pace respectively? :? Did they only go out on a wet track while others went when it was dry?

Well the Lotus is quite bad in such conditions, still a bit strange though.

I see Gueiterrez is still driving absent mindedly like a rookie

yes basically when the track was at its driest they stayed in the garage, and went out again when the rain started for some strange reason.

i think lotus were just experimenting... God i hope that wasn't their normal pace :( They were running higher downforce as they have the double DRS. if they can get that to work.. things are looking good for Kimi :)

Can someone direct me to a map of the circuit with the latest revision of the bus-stop chicane?

I note that, in the dry running of FP2, Vettel has held P1 throughout.

Webber close though.

RBR looking very strong. Not only do they have alot of downforce, they can get on the power halfway through turn 1, and Vettel is on top of the speedtrap @ 305 km/h

Vettel can have pole if his tyres blow up 11 laps in :P

Seriously though, if it is a case of tyre ware, Lotus and Ferrari could have a chance here.

Seb saying sorry over the radio would suggest he overcooked it somewhere but Horner talking about a "sudden de-lamination" so who knows.

Let's hope we don't have a repeat of Silverstone...

Vettel was talking slow puncture, so sounds like he thinks it was from something he did, thus I suspect Horner is talking out of a body part located some distance from his mouth.

Lots of drivers are going outside the white lines in this session. Is that going to be penalised in the race?

James Allen sparing no specifics in describing the role Hamilton's "muscular leg" plays in his braking style.

Vettel topping the speed traps: Mercedes right at the bottom, some 12 seconds adrift. Bit of a change from the norm!
