I know, a double-post, but I believe when a driver deserves a compliment, he should be given one.Lewis Hamilton wrote:He's a two-time world champion and very rarely makes mistakes so I just do the best I can to get myself as high as possible.
Great video. Reminded me of Mansell and all his bad luck.Emerson.F wrote:Some might not be able too watch the video so here the youtube link guys. Great video gave me gousebumps at the end.

I'm really hoping he wins tonight in Abu Dhabi. And in Austin. And in Brazil.
Impressive, I wish that there was that kind of action in F1.tootsie323 wrote:This may have been done countless times but my personal fave is Lewis in Istanbul 2006 during his GP2 championship. Awesome drive.

Hamilton slightly better in quali and race . Rosberg may out-qualifying him on some occasions.MikeV1987 wrote:How do you guys think he will do against Rosberg?
I think quali will be a bit closer, but I think in the race we will see more from LH than NR. Nico seems to be anonymous for the race and rarely does he do anything out of the ordinary.MikeV1987 wrote:How do you guys think he will do against Rosberg?
IMO it has a influence when the race engineer he worked together for 3 years now, disappears suddenly, IMo Lewis did not say someting, because anyone will have said, he is making excusesspiritone wrote:Any news on the latham mystery? Very weird that hamiltons engineer would go missing for the most important part of the year. Hamilton doesn't seemed to have missed a beat, but odd that he never came back.
This would be a good idea.FormulaFun wrote:i think that, since next year he has freedom of his personal sponsors, he should definitely talk to UNICEF about sponsorship for free, he seems to be passionate about the cause so it'd be cool if he was able to get them
FC Barcelona PAID UNICEF €1.5 million a year to carry the UNICEF logo on their shirts so he won't be doing it for free.. He'd be paying themHaribo wrote:This would be a good idea.FormulaFun wrote:i think that, since next year he has freedom of his personal sponsors, he should definitely talk to UNICEF about sponsorship for free, he seems to be passionate about the cause so it'd be cool if he was able to get them
i dont think that Barca were required to pay UNICEF, just that they wanted to, just as Hamilton might choose to do, although i doubt it'd be as much given how Barca is a lot richer than Hamilton, but he could choose to pay some money if he wanted, he probably already gives them a lot of money. Either way it'd be good.SilverstoneRegular wrote:FC Barcelona PAID UNICEF €1.5 million a year to carry the UNICEF logo on their shirts so he won't be doing it for free.. Yes they were, a donation was required to have the name on the shirts and the high price was to show that UNICEF was not being used as a "brand"FormulaFun wrote:i dont think that Barca were required to pay UNICEF, just that they wanted to, just as Hamilton might choose to do, although i doubt it'd be as much given how Barca is a lot richer than Hamilton, but he could choose to pay some money if he wanted, he probably already gives them a lot of money. Unicef is not the only charity organisation he works for, maybe there will be someother, (too)FormulaFun wrote:i dont think that Barca were required to pay UNICEF, just that they wanted to, just as Hamilton might choose to do, although i doubt it'd be as much given how Barca is a lot richer than Hamilton, but he could choose to pay some money if he wanted, he probably already gives them a lot of money. Oh right, well i'm sure he could still do that, although as i said i doubt they'd make him pay £1.5m, and as Sabrina said he could easily talk to another NPO about sponsorships for free if UNICEF don't want him to bare their logo, which as far as i can see would be a drastically dumb move by them...SilverstoneRegular wrote:Yes they were, a donation was required to have the name on the shirts and the high price was to show that UNICEF was not being used as a "brand"FormulaFun wrote:i dont think that Barca were required to pay UNICEF, just that they wanted to, just as Hamilton might choose to do, although i doubt it'd be as much given how Barca is a lot richer than Hamilton, but he could choose to pay some money if he wanted, he probably already gives them a lot of money. IMo it's great what he does. Lewis said he wants do a lot more charity work. He told his XIX management this is what he wants to do. not a rap star or film star, he wants to do more charity
An excellent choice indeed. It is easy to forget the real world amidst the glitz and glamour of F1. Lewis always seems to make conscious effort to reach out to the less fortunate; I remember a picture of him with street kids in Manila eariler this year too.Sabrina wrote: IMo it's great what he does.
