Mercedes F1 W04 online reveal

Mercedes are doing a "reveal" of the new car online in 3 hours time (16:00 GMT), ahead of the launch at Jerez.
Reveal rate will be governed by fans' tweetage.

Not sure but it looks like they are saying the reveal will start at 4 so to tweet then, so it should show and raise the door in real time. It looks like everyone is tweeting now tough.

This gives me a great idea for F1 races.
How about the amount of DRS available to each driver is driven by how many tweets are sent during the race? i.e. #HAMDRS
That'll make things a bit more interactive for the fans.

I believe that's in readonly's sporting regs.

They should just tweet a picture of it, that will satisfy most people's curiosity for now, reduce the load on the servers and people will come back later when it's all calmed down.

By the time they have sorted it out, there will be enough tweets to fully reveal the car anyway.. !

Same happened for the fairy cakes Force India launch. The only difference was it was plastered with 'HOSTING BY INTERNAP' adverts
