Interlagos updates - anyone know what they are exactly?

Does anyone know what has been or is to be done to the "Curva do Cafe" corner turn 14 of Interlagos? I have been searching a lot and have not come up with any solid material. The last big accident involving a death was april last 2011. Some websites were saying work was to be done, and some of those saying there were plans to provide a run-off; further still one website said work was done before the 2011 grand-prix. But reviewing the pole lap I noticed the corners just had armco barriers all up tight to the track, was that the work?
Wikipedia cites Charlie Whiting as saying he "detailed several planned upgrades of the circuit, including a new pit entrance and expanded run-off at the final corner, as a response to several fatal accidents at the circuit in 2011"
I am confused, is work being carried out there now? If someone has any information and can enlighten me, it would be much appreciated.
