For all things Caterham. Remember we will be stricter on rule enforcement in official threads.

Stupid Vergne, they could have had a chance of points.

 The first race that Caterham actually got it together and could have got a point finish. A sad weekend for them. Both cars performed beautifully!

Petrov pushed it, and ended up breaking his wing. If it wasn't for that, it could have been 10th place thanks to Maldonado and Hamilton crashing again.

I really don't know what Vergne was doing, then claiming it was a racing incident

 It'd be like me driving down the M25 and side swiping someone and saying to the police 'No idea what happened, it was just one of those things' - like they would let you walk away.

Was this incident cleared up during the race? or is it still being investigated?

5 place grid pen for JEV.

Good, stupid driving from Vergne

Clumsy mistake by Vergne. Very reminiscent of Vettel at Turkey in 2010.

I really like this team. A good spirit. Would like tp see them score some points. Would be some story if they were to beat torro Rosso!

If they get some decent form and are in the midfield pack in a few races, not just in the gap between the midfield and the back of the pack, however Caterham does seem to be getting to the midfield every race, and as Torro Rosso are only on 6 points.
If Caterham have a good couple of races or luck into the points they could actually beat them, especially as Torro Rosso's 'Star' drivers seem to be doing a terrible job.

I agree - they are kind of in their own little legue at the moment. Not back of the field. Not midfield. Just... in-between ('lower-middle field'). They have two decent drivers and clearly a much better team (in terms of atmosphere and personel) than Toro Rosso. I'd like to see them take Toro Rosso this year just to punish Red Bull for firing Alguersuari and Buemi. That being said, they could easily bring Buemi back as he's a test driver for them.

Things are looking better for Caterham. They not only beat a Toro Rosso in Q1, but then beat the other one in Q2, so Kovi started in front of both TRs. If they are continuing to bring upgrades, they might be able to score this year. Here's hoping!

Some upgrades coming for silverstone. I would like to see a big push from this team. Show people you can compete in f1 as a new team entering the sport. I'm predicting both cars in q2.

would be incredible in this unpredictable season if they made really big strides and could compete with most of the teams reasonably for a q3 spot! I wouldn't say its not possible, because of how the midfield has basically became part of the front and we seemingly have str and caterham as a midfield and hrt + virgin as backmarkers.

Well this season is so unpredictable that its become predictable. If caterham get in to q3 this season i will have tp check if my meds are working. Beating torrid rosso seems like a worthy goal. It all hinges on how the car responds tp the new upgrades. Caterhams exhaust layout never looked quite right compared to their rivals. Kovi and petrov are also better drivers than vergne. Remember what that guy said pre season? Better than webber etc.

If it rains in Silverstone as predicted, they could have a chance.

They'll need a few retirements so rain will be good for them. I'm assuming based on your sig you share my affinity to for the underdog. I like all the new teams except marrusia. Something unendearing about that team. Notice Kovi is talking about moving to a bigger team? almost as though hes anticipating some upturn in form. Silverstone is a different track to valencia so we will have to wait and see.
