Yah they just showed the last two corners of his personal best. My question is who are all of these mysterious women at Williams each GP? Seems like they have a new looker every week.

Re: Official Chinese GP Practice Thread
Definitely slippery out there.. You can hear the revs fly up on wheelspin as they try to put the power down everywhere.

Also "Ok Timo, be careful out there, no Tokyo drifting"
10 seconds later... big loss of traction

Just now... "So Timo, you need new underwear or are you alright?"

I love hearing the radio commentary... Some of it seems "contrived", but damn its funny.
Re: Official Chinese GP Practice Thread
Nico's time was on inters?! At the same time Hamilton was running fast on mediums? Ok maybe there's something to their magic wing.

Re: Official Chinese GP Practice Thread
Was nice to see Webber up top for the majority of the session. Saubers did good near the end.
I wasn't really sure what the conditions were at all.

The conditions made the whole session pointless, no real data would have been gathered as most drivers were in the pits during the cross-over period due to the track being too dirty.

Re: Official Chinese GP Practice Thread
I couldn't see any new components on any cars, any eagle eyes out there?
Re: Official Chinese GP Practice Thread
Hey
Just got in, missed FP1, Correct me if I'm wrong but track was wet, damp and slippery to start but now is drying up for FP2? (Would explain hamiltons time)
Hope dry weather for quali and race so we can really see how these cars are doing after these upgrades.
Ps. Anybody know what the exact upgrades made to the Lotus were?

Ya wet most of the practice drying at the end, both Lotus(s?) had minor problems, hydraulics for Gros and DRS for Kimi. I've read Lotus updated the front wing and rear wing end plates.

Ferrari - Rear Wing
McLaren - Front Wing
Redbull - Exhaust (not really new but it is a change)
Lotus - Pretty much everything.

New rear wing and revised version of the sauber type exhaust for Webber's car.
Old Barcelona Test type exhaust on Vettel's car
New Floor for Caterham and McLaren. Possible new diffuser for McLaren but not sure on that.
New Wings for Ferrari (Both front and back), Slightly modified Engine cover for Ferrari, possibly due to better packaging and for better airflow at the back end.
Nothing too obvious on Merc.
Force India has new Aero package, they declined to say what exactly it is.
No updates at all on Sauber (Bummer, they were still quick)

Whitmarsh also said, amongst other things, McLaren are running a new floor on the car.

LOL, did anyone see Bernie flipping off that female reporter?
"what stupid question is that? You are going to get stupid answer" when asked if he is going to Bahrain.
Poor reporter had nothing else to do but keep smile on the face and nod.

Thanks but, I already know about the live timing.
There is another FIA stats website where the laptimes can be seen even after the session is over.
