I think both hamilton and verstappen did all they could and wouldn't say either stood out more than another. Mercedes just looked quicker. And this race it has to be said that Bottas really wasn't ever remotely close to the pace of the leaders. I think he probably would have finished over 30 seconds behind Hamilton without the safety car at the start.

Leclerc stands out the most I would say. I'm however stuck with the 3 to choose as Ricciardo was great too.

Hamilton, Leclerc and Verstappen for me!

For once I really enjoyed a Spanish GP! If only more pole-sitter conversions could enjoy the same strategic chess and overtaking!

Plumped for Hamilton, Verstappen and Leclerc.

Strategy mastery helped Lewis on his way but he was insanely fast in clear air to get the job done. Max did all he could really do today, beat Lewis into T1 but strategy and the cooler conditions helping Merc on the mediums were an obstable too far.

Leclerc just continues to perform to a very high level. Get that Ferrari on the same level as RB/Merc and the 2 horse fight become 3 for me.

A race where F1's elite trio shone, voted Hamilton, Verstappen and Leclerc.

Charles Leclerc gets my vote. It must be encouraging for Ferrari that they've looked best of the rest at this most aero-dependent circuit.

Went with the flow but shout out to Ricciardo too, who finally had the measure of Norris, albeit in a less than spectacular weekend for McLaren.

Good to see Leclerc getting some recognition here. He's in no mans land, but like last year he is quietly doing a brilliant job. Gasly messed up at the start but actually drove brilliantly after his penalty had been served.

It is so hard to know. Ricciardo seemed to look better, but to what extent did Norris have a weekend where things just didn't come together, given it was the worst result for the team this year. The first two races, Ricciardo finished in a similar position (7th and 6th) so what will be more convincing is when he finishes above 6th.

Same with Ocon. It looks good, as he is ahead of Alonso, but now he doesn't have a 'settled' Ricciardo in the other car, and his outright result was not that much of an improvement on previous races.

Leclerc is again hard to measure as it is hard to get a handle on how good the car is, but great overtake on Bottas and solid drive.

Max had the impressive start, Lewis the impressive chase and overtake. The good thing is, lots of good candidates.

Hamilton and Verstappen had the best cars and no issues - should have finished on podium so less than that a sub-par performance - LH won with team strategy, MV lost with team strategy - NEITHER did more than expected - neither deserve driver of the day - others in lesser cars who outperformed them own that honour

Yes, but. It is not just a guy with the best car at the front cruising to victory. They had to perform at the front with all the spotlights on them against a considerable foe/package. So I think it is fair to can make the case for them if you wish so.
