Off-season entertainment.

Well, with not a lot of 2021 F1 news at present, I am enjoying some of the old racing that is being shown on Sky F1. Yesterday they showed extended highlights of a host of wins by Hill. Today, I'm currently enjoying 45 minutes worth of coverage of the 1985 Belgian GP. It's wet, obviously, and when Murray Walker calls out, Senna leads from Prost, Mansell and Alboreto, it sends shivers down my spine THis is the era I first got into the sport. Now a dry line is appearing, some have changed to slicks and they're all crashing off!

Spectacular stuff.

I subscribe to F1TV and have been loving watching classic races from the archive.

My only gripe with the app is that it doesn't allow you to cast to your TV so you're stuck with either your phone or tablet.

I have no interest in watching old races, I like other sports in particular football and boxing, I guess F1 can be seen as my summer sport and football as my winter sport although there is an obvious overlap at either end.
