Well, if yesterday's F2 race was anything to go by, this circuit could produce some excellent racing. Perhaps it will give the organisers thoughts about running on this circuit each year.
Could be a race for Verstappen to win...Bottas clearly feeling the pressure because he knows if Russel beats him convincingly here his stock is done. I expect him to have a messy race..Russel may not have the best race just because of his relative inexperience and quite frankly his race pace isn't as good as his quali pace...This maybe Verstappen's best chance to win

Any idea whether my DRS-allergy is going to knock me out or not? (I don't mean the F2 race was one, you clearly enjoyed it.)
Use every man after his desert, and who should scape whipping? Use them after your own honour and dignity.

DRS could make today's race into one of those they had in Monza during the 60's. However, at least there was plenty of passing and near passes without the use of DRS.

Did downforce and aero wake even exist back then?

Very little, but my point was that in the two F2 races, there were passes without the need for DRS, despite all the DRS enabled passing.
Hilarious and disappointing opening to the Grand Prix. Gutting to lose Verstappen from this race already, who kicks the wall knowing a chance for a victory has slipped.
I thought it was Leclerc’s fault at first for going up the inside and outbraking himself but now wondering if Perez should have give him some more space?
Wtf was Verstappen doing?!
Great start from Russell, another thing some have said he has struggled with so far in his career that he’s nailed this weekend. Safety car restart is another challenge here though.
Hmm, not sure who to blame most. But anyway, leclerc played a big part in it. If Leclerc is concidered to be at fault, that is basically the 6th retirement he's caused this season...
The fact George is still asking what buttons to press for the restart, just shows what a difficult situation this is for him, even if it's clearly the best car on the grid.

Watch Perez' POV for the whole incident. Leclerc would have been completely blindsighted from Perez's viewpoints. No way he could predict the Ferrari car at the apex.

Fair. I do think Leclerc is mainly at fault for that, he’s so quick but does have a habit of getting involved in crashes.
It's almost like Max thought that grey gavel was solid ground. He seemed to power onto it thinking he'd make the corner.
It's a strange one - though he claims there was nothing he could do.
Yes, from the onboard, he runs wide and then gives the throttle a bit of a blip, almost like he thought he could get a bit of power on. Then hits the gravel and has no control.
