I really have no idea at the moment.

I think Uday’s three might be my choice too.

Leclerc for me. That Ferrari had no business scoring points.

Hamilton, Perez and Norris for me.
Hamilton had excellent control from start to finish and managed the tyres exquistely.
Perez desperately unlucky with an engine failure after another superb performance.
Norris with a great race to beat both Sainz and the Renaults and finish best of the rest.

Norris did do a good job but he did start six places ahead of Sainz so should have beaten him.F1Tyrant wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 5:33 pmHamilton, Perez and Norris for me.

Perez and Norris both drove a very strong race. But I'm giving Sainz the nod for making that soft tyre go as long as he did and making that first stint count.

Romain Grosjean won his life thanks to his training and quick thinking. After a 56g shunt and passing through a safety barrier, he managed to escape a burning car filling his helmet with black smoke so he could not see. Not every driver would have found a way out of that smoking wreck. Winning the race is worth nothing in comparison.

I picked Sainz and Gasly, completely forgetting about Perez.
No real standouts. I think those three performed very well though.

I am giving the nod to Hamilton, Perez, and Sainz for reasons that others have stated above.

Well, Vettel certainly thinks so!

My vote goes to all of them, for putting up a spectacle after the early scare.

I think Sainz and Perez were the two main stand outs today. Especially given where Sainz started. Norris also did really well, but he obviously started well ahead of Sainz. Ocon did well initially, but Ricciardo showed that despite many mistakes, he was a lot faster. Hamilton and Verstappen were both very quick, but didn't look that special.

A special vote to Grosjean for surviving that crash, I give credit to him for being able to expediate himself from that inferno.

I think he might be quite pleased as well, you have to say the Marshall with the big fire extinguisher together with the track doctor punched a hole in the fire to sort of open a window for him. Massive credit to both!

Perhaps Alan van der Merwe should be up for consideration!
