.

Do you really want to have Stroll and Verstappen together at the first corner ?

What’s the forecast for tomorrow? I assume if it’s wet like today we’ll get massive gaps between the drivers again which won’t be great but still will be good fun to see who can keep it on track.

Verstappen has to be favourite, he's been the quickest all weekend, I think Hamilton has a shot at a podium.

I think Hamilton has a good shot at the win. But I also have a feeling luck could play a role for many later in what could be a chaotic race.

I'm a Hamilton fan but i'd love Stroll to win this. The kid has taken a lot of criticism, some justified but mostly just because of how he got his drive in F1. He has shown pace at times but does suffer from inconsistency. Would be nice to see him put together a great winning race.

Hate to be all doom and gloom but I suspect one of them (stroll) will be at least 8th by the end of lap 1.

I've got a feeling Bottas year could be over by turn 2..... tyre warm up issues on a track like ice while starting slap bang in the middle of the field is a recipe for disaster. Can see more tears for Max too if he gets racey with Stroll at the start.

It’s starting to rain again which might mean those who switch the tyres on run away from the field (Red Bull and RP) but you’re right that it could chaotic!

Should be a comfortable win for Verstappen

Race control will start this one behind the safety car sadly. No way do they have the balls to let the drivers run in conditions that are tricky.

Which is daft as they can't get up enough speed to hurt themselves.

Now it's wet I make Stroll the favourite. He's good in the wet and should have a good package for it.

Yes, the fact they can dial in extra downforce and adjust ride height etc is a good thing.

It's going to be a long race in these conditions. Anyone could win this today, it only takes one mistake ro ruin your chances. It's got a feel of Hockenheim 2019.

Looks like an "ordinary" start ( with a pile up at the first corner ).

Should Verstappen be penalised for not keeping up with Stroll ?

well, bottas's first spin is a bit more understandable given he had to react to ocon spinning. but he didn'd recover well.

It looks like Max is faster than Vettel in the corners and under braking, but he can't accelerate as quickly so keeps dropping back.

Vettel is holding Verstappen up - with no DRS it is very difficult for Verstappen to pass.

Racing Point are superb.

Is there a logical reason why all marshall posts don't have jacks and trolleys to put under cars? If they had these, they could spin cars round and wheel them out of trouble in not time at all. This forward, backward, forward, backward, 100 point turn, it painful.

well, a lot of evidence today that bottas is pretty weak in these conditions. although hamilton is proving the car is a real handful.

Max's lack of patience again. Why would you try to go down the inside there?

I think we may have just witnessed why Max may never become a World Champion. Possibly the fastest driver in the pack, lacking the mental aptitude.

Racing drivers, like boxers, always revert to type when the pressure is on.

Mad Max returns.
