Damn, I don't know how I missed this completely. Following Formula 1 related pages and people on several social media platforms but didn't see a thing about it unfortunately.

Interesting that it appears the Australian Supercars organisers are trying different formats each time on their esports racing and are discussing which could be used in real world racing.

Enjoying the 1hr Silverstone GT race on Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Love the fact that Button has a Brawn livery on his McLaren and that Leclerc has his own livery on his Ferrari.

Here's Buttons. Can't find a picture of Charles' car that's a low enough resolution to post on this forum!

I'm not sure I like seeing other sports professionals compete in the virtual Grand Prix. I would much rather see some actual E-Sports drivers given a chance to broadcast their skills and promote their sport. But I guess having Aguero race probably gets more views.

They can't put pros in because F1, most people and media would prefer to see Leclerc etc winning rather than some unknown teenager

Has it occurred to anyone that the 'unknown teenager' might be faster than the 'Pros' but never had the chance?

Of course. Where you going with this? :)

Zazu, who you quoted from just two posts above yours, addresses just that with the most plausible explanation for the same.

Aussie Supercars esports live now. Racing on two ovals!

This has been one of the best esports motorsport series I've seen during this strange time.
