AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo

It seems Torro Rosso is going to become AlphaTauri in 2020 - a brand of Red Bull clothing I believe. But isn't it stupid to choose a name so like 'Alfa Romeo'? Surely people are going to mix them up, which won't help either team's commercial or sporting profile..

This is kind of old news now, Alpha Tauri sounds more like a celestial body, as for the confusing names I'm not sure how long the Alfa Romeo name will be in F1 for that too be a long term problem?

Well it was either AlphaTauri or Aston-Morton.

Well it was either AlphaTauri or Aston-Morton.
Couldn't really be Aston Martin, they specifically allied themselves with the team with Adrian Newey in it because of the Valkyrie project. And had they called themselves Aston for 2020, there'd be even more confusion with Racing Point taking on that name for 2021.

I have to say I like the livery on the Alpha Tauri, I think it maybe my favourite.

I think Alpha Tauri will finish fourth in the constructors. Expect it to be very much a second Red Bull team now

Yeah it's very different plus when I look at recent cars I've had, given choice I've gone for black or white so it probably suits a colour preference for me as well.

Yeah I've since had that pointed out to me, my excuse is slight colour blindness.
