Tanak's Crash

Post by pokerman »

I think it's fair to say that rally drivers are the modern day gladiators of 4 wheeled motorsport, here world champion Tanak has a slight off.

What's really incredible is how safe modern rally cars are... that's a frightening crash to watch.

Saw it on my Twitter feed earlier, aye. The onboard is quite something as well, there seem to be at least two occasions where it seems like the car might have stopped and yet it continues to keep rolling!

Amazing that they both escaped unharmed, really.

If I had seen the crash live I would have been fearing the worst.

If you look at the picture of were the car came to rest, the cliff behind is what it came down.

Crazy! I watched the video with onboard on YouTube and it's amazing they are so unharmed. Thank goodness. There is another video of the race highlights and these drivers are something else, as are the fans who line the roadway during the night to cheer them. Wow
