It happened to Russia, a nation bigger in size and lets say similarly powerful. Weren't they kicked out from the Olympics and World Cup in the recent years? Admittedly it was for different reasons (a doping scandal from memory), but it goes to show that it doesn't matter who it is, they can get kicked out/boycotted just the same. All it takes is someone with big enough "fruits" to do it.

Partially true. They were banned from the last Olympics but Russia actually hosted the last World Cup! But as you say they were kicked out for cheating. It was for sporting reasons not political so I don't think it's a reasonable comparison.

Anyway I'm sure we can all agree that American owned F1 isn't about to boycott the USA.

Absolutely. In a way I'd love to see that happening, but not going to hold my breath!

Just a thought, though women were granted permission/are allowed to drive in Saudi since 2017, they have to get 'permission' from a male guardian to apply for a license (or a passport).

Can you imagine the fuss if a woman makes it to F1 but Saudi won't let her drive...

Whilst they are allowed to drive, they have to be taught by a woman.

Big shortage of female instructers so big big waiting list.

Although Saudi has the worst driving standards of any country I've been too.

I don't really care where they drive as along as the circuit is nice for racing. There are quite a few duds on the calendar.
