.

I normally never vote for the leader just leading all the way, but Hamilton deserves it both for this drive and the whole season.

Otherwise, Sainz.

Oh! and Bottas starting at the back and overtaking Vettel, and only a few seconds behind Leclerc.

.

Probably Hamilton, Bottas and Norris.

I feel tht without the DRS issue early on, it is almost certain Bottas will have got Leclerc in the end. Nearly 10 places in the first 10 laps with no DRS isn't bad at all at this track even in the best car. He will have likely breezed past several of them saving him a lot of time and Leclerc would have been in trouble much earlier on.

Although I do think Hamilton was better especially given he had the old engine. The fact he got fastest lap on older tyres is really impressive. Though he may have been saving them and won't have been in traffic. But he beat everyone by such a distance today. Very good drive.

Sainz may have been effected in qualifying, but Noris did a very good jb yesterday. and making his tyres last like he did with pressure from behind was very impressive.

Perez and Kvyat also looked good today, but I think Kvyat should have been a bit better than he was in the last stint.

Verstappen could also be up there as a DOTD as he had to manage a problem. But he often maes them sound bigger than they are. If it was that bad, I don't think he would still be much faster than Albon - which he was.

Albon and nearly both Ferrari's being beaten by Botats though. Either all 3 were underwhelming or that Ferrari is just awful. I mean no safety car and Bottas under a second behind Leclerc at the end, there must be some massive difference performance wise between these two cars. Or Leclerc and vettel was not great today or the oppsite for Bottas.

Sergio Perez. Managed his race superbly and beat both Renaults and McLarens in an inferior car.

Grand Chelem today (pole, led every lap, and set fastest lap) and a new track record. The GC is quite an accomplishment and gets my vote for DOTD. If I have this right, there have only been 24 drivers in the history of F1 to score a GC and a total of 62 GCs ever accomplished, including today. Clark has the most at 8. Hamilton scored his sixth today, which is the second most ever. Ascari and Schumacher both had 5. Stewart, Senna, Mansell, and Vettel all have 4. Nelson Piquet (there's only one in my book) had 3. No one else has more than 2. There are some very fast people who never got any, like Alain Prost. Now that we have this point of fastest lap rule, I was wondering if we would ever get another GC. As today proved, it's possible so long as the gaps among the top ten stay close.

Hamilton for showing who's the boss with a commanding drive.

Perez and Verstappen otherwise.
