Probably, Hamilton usually has really good tyre management so should be able to make it
Yeah he does but I can see him struggling vs those on a two stop in the closing stages

What would the pit window be for a 1 stop? Mercedes NEED to undercut vettel with Hamilton of they want to win, they can't even get anywhere near cars ahead

One stopper looks to be much the better strategy?

The two stopper isn't working is it? Albon and Leclerc have been far to slow in this stint.

Assuming they're going for the offset strategy because Hamilton would be passed Vettel after one lap

I think it might come back to the 2 stoppers at the end of the race

Not sure about that, tyres are holding up really well compared to original expectations as long as you look after them

Anyone else feel Ferrari really messed up their strategy?

Race could come to Vettel and Bottas maybe.

Yes I think that vettel could have repassed Hamilton despite the undercut but now I don't know

Not sure. Leclerc is no faster than Vettel even at this point in the race. For a twos topper to work he would need to be catching him.

Do you think Ferrari reacted to Albon? Ended up being a bad decision, they was top 2.

I think Merc were way too eager with Hamilton and did stop much too early, but we'll see.

I like Vettel for the win here.

I really, really hope we don't get a safety car because this is lining up for a fascination conclusion. A safety car now would ruin everything.

Merc in damage limitation regarding brake temps. We can see Albon has the pace so imagine the pressure Max could be applying - though they are controlling the pace at the front no doubt.
Wasn;t max's fault.. look carefully at the start, Lewis lost his rear (out of hape) and forced Max off track..

I thought he got the puncture in overtaking Bottas. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I can only think they over-reacted way too much to Albon pitting. There was no benefit in Leclerc pitting that early. The time gap between each car was going to be constant if he stayed out.

Vettel has Bottas covered with a 1 stop. Leclerc has Hamilton covered if they both 2 stop. Hamilton only wins if he 1 stops but then Vettel probably overtakes him with tyre delta.

Lewis to pit again as soon as Vettel passes him? Can't imagine Lewis will make it too easy for Seb to pass after the first lap fun!
