Lewis been telling porkies about the state of his tyres? Wouldn't be the first time.

I don't think Lewis is dead yet. Vettel isn't rocketing up behind him.

Lewis was bluffing on the radio. He has got plenty of tire left me thinks.

20 laps left - does he have a fresh set of softs to put on?

I think it's gonna be vettel or Hamilton, bottas is gonna over heat as soon as he gets anywhere close to an overtake

Vettel seems to have hit a wall at just over 2 seconds behind Hamilton for the moment.

Never mind it's suddenly +1.3 seconds.

The amount of times where we were fed the 'my tyres won't last the race' before them lasting pretty fine for the rest of the race makes me think he shouldn't have too much issues.

Vettel fighting Bottas could hand this to Lewis

How hilarious would it be if ricciardo goes and overtakes Verstappen on the last lap

You can't overtake a Ferrari down a straight

Ferrari's advantage against Mercedes is its straight line speed, not race pace. To beat Mercedes they need track position. They had two cars to hold the leading position - and decided to outrace Mercedes with both cars.

Bottas could win this for Lewis - You get the feeling that if it weren't for defending against Bottas, Seb would be right up on Lewis and cruising past with DRS

He is maintaining that 2 second gap. I think he's still got life left in those tyres.

This will be a great win for Hamilton. I think the Mercedes was the 3rd best car today.

I suspect that Seb will have one last charge at Lewis in the last few laps but it doesn't look like he has the pace to pull it off.

I don't know if Charles can get by Valtteri.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the ‘no investigation necessary’ banner more in one race.

Will be a bit of an anti-climax if they just come home in this order!

Leclerc is out of it now, bottas too he can't get anywhere near without over heating.

It's Vettel Vs Hamilton now - can vettel force an error out of Hamilton like Hamilton has done to him so often

Vettel hasn't made any impression on Hamilton yet, you would at least think he would get in the DRS zone earlier. These tyres are so wierd here.

There will be some attempts but I won't complain if there are no passes at the front.

I'm surprised Ferrari weren't able to make more of a dent given the tire offset. Will Vettel get within a second before the end of the race?

Remember Max has done quite a few more laps than Lewis on the hards and is still going

Vettel can't get close. He doesn't have the pace. Verstappen's lasted almost the whole race on the hard tyres and his pace isn't too awful.

The hard tire has almost no degradation. Verstappen still lapping within a second of the race leaders on 60 laps old tires. Hamilton should hang on easily.
