So glad Hamilton didn't let Verstappen bully him out the way. Got his just desserts for that and vettel overly aggressive also

I guess he just saw Leclerc get away with it in Monza so did the same

Go on Albon, get yourself on the podium lad, he's always had better race pace than quali so being in a position like this in lap 3 is good

He'll probably get away with it as once again Lewis avoided the contact by going off the track

So this isn't F1, it's "bumper cars" ?

I await the stewards doing their job ( HA ! )

( There is a difference between bumps caused by gross overcrowding, and bumps caused by bad driving. )

.

(Max down the back - what a shame [ sarcasm ] )

Yup Hamilton the only guy in a leading team that's capable of driving to the law, who'd have thought we'd be saying that a few years ago

Good to know pushing a rival onto the grass at 160MPH doesn't even warrant an investigation.

Indeed, thought that would be a slam dunk black and white flag

Alrhough they've always been more lenient for lap 1, but I think we all know vettel 100% knew what he was doing

FIA doesn't want Lewis getting too many points this weekend - if he wins the WDC here they lose a lot of advertising revenue for the remaining races

Why are the stewards there if they won't penalise such a dangerous move as Vettel on Hamilton ?

What does Vettel/Ferrari need to do to be penalised ?

Max being at the back is the worst thing that could have happened.

Why ? Possibly you mean that he will bash into every car in front of him as he works he way up the field.

Norris has had horrific luck all season. Almost everytime he is on for a big result something goes wrong.

Yes - Max's mishaps have sucked a lot of life out of the race, and it was of his own making.

Merc in damage limitation regarding brake temps. We can see Albon has the pace so imagine the pressure Max could be applying - though they are controlling the pace at the front no doubt.

He didnt really do alot wrong, unlucky at the first corner. Not sure when the puncture happened but he was silly passing in the stadium and letting Bottas have DRS.

Albon just might win today? 2 stopper supposedly the fastest strategy IIRC.

Will it force Ferrari's hand...

Ferrari have indeed reacted and Leclerc at least is on the 2-stopper, one presumes.

Vet + Ham + Bot(??): 1 Stopper.

Albon + Lec: 2 Stopper.

Why pit Leclerc so early? Albon was 8/9 seconds behind by the time Leclerc got out of the pit lane.

Probably, Hamilton usually has really good tyre management so should be able to make it
