PF1 forumers are told off for talking pit infringements during FP2. Meanwhile on Sky F1 we have 10 minutes of nonsense about a flag being upside down.

Update. 5 minutes later Croft shuts down a talk on tyres to go back to the British flag. Now we are onto what trousers Karun is wearing. ffs

Merc on hard fast as rb on medium. Anything less than a merc 1-2 would be a surprise!

My prediction is that Merc are faster, Hamilton takes pole but is beaten on the long run to first corner and then can't get back past for the lead.

Hamilton’s starts have been much better than Verstappen recently.

They have, but things like that don't always last forever so I'm predicting a change this weekend.

Anyway, who said I was talking about Verstappen being the one to take the lead ;)

If it's dry I reckon Hamilton has this handy enough. Not sure about Bottas being up there as well though, he's seriously lacking in track time. Max to be the closest challenger I think

If it's wet then who knows. It could neutralise the performance gap between Merc & RB. I'd still fancy Hamilton because this is one of his strongest circuits

No idea where Ferrari fits into all this

Less than a tenth between Hamilton, Verstappen and Vettel. Vettel is mega quick through S1 and Hamilton is mega quick through S3.

An exciting qualifying in prospect.

LeClerc really needs to deliver on his promise one of these days.
Does anyone think that there has ever been a moment of frustration with his father when Max has pointed out to Jos that he was the Pierre Gasly of 1994?

Russell closer to Verstappen than Kubica is to Russell. Ouch.

Well, he is in his second season. More mistakes will be coming, like with virtually everyone so early in their career. But the speed is there.

Really?

His 2nd year in F1, same age as Verstappen, he's got 2 poles already, has been close to 2 wins & has got the raw deal on a couple of strategy calls on more than 1 occasion.

Not a bad start to a career.
Only took 7 yrs, 5 mths & 21 days.

Cooper, Arrows, Brabham, Ligier, Lotus, Tyrrell, Minardi, McLaren, Sauber, Williams,

Norris faster than anyone in formula 1.5 by at least 0.5 sec. Impressive.

Al of this is true and he does have 5 podiums this year including 4 in the last 5 races. Still, a driver needs to have delivered some results. A bunch of near misses don't signify greatness to anyone.

I would say Leclerc has been a top three driver so far this season with Hamilton and Verstappen. Results are misleading.

He didn't use the softs as the midfield runners but he is nearly 0.9 sec off Max on the same tire. That gap is not getting any smaller.

Agree.

Considering his age, experience & the pressure he must be under driving for Ferrari, I think he's had a great year.
