I'm not sure what's more amazing, Vettel's lack of driving skill or both cars not retiring on the spot!

How many incidents will the powers that be let Vettel get involved with before they start talking race bans? It's getting to the point where it's not fair on those he's racing.

True!

I thought Max was done! That gearbox is made out of a 70's brick toilet

I'm starting to think Vettel should really consider retirement.

He's lost it.

Watching it again I would say that Verstappen moved a bit in the braking zone, that's what can happen when you do that.

I liked the fact that Vettel gave Max the finger - not exactly self-aware is he !

Well yes, if we're playing the 'cars width' game, Vettel went to the inside after Max had moved to the middle and then Max moved across even more.

True, but then Lewis had his year of punting others frequently and was not banned, so I'd guess it won't happen now either.

Vettel kind of ran in a hole when he tried to get back in the slip AS the corner was approaching.

I don't think you mean the braking zone? As soon as Verstappen hit the breaks Vettel hit the back of him.

Bottom line the gap Vettel was aiming for was never a gap.

Yeah I agree but he only moved so slightly that Vettel would've run into him even if he didn't move.

Tbh, it looks worse than it is.

Totally Sebs fault, but those cars slow down so quickly!

Nothing like this though. Lewis had a dodgy half season. Vettel has been a liability to race with since France last season. Surely there comes a time when he has to be pulled aside and told it can't keep happening?

Monaco - Japan in 2011. Hamilton did have a lot of incidents.

Why pit. There's only 7 laps. Don't pit Lewis it's not worth it.

It's always a risk to defend like that with last second change of directions, I'm thinking of Baku last year as well.

Hamilton got pretty cosy with Massa a few times in 2011

Vettel would have hit him anyway. He didn't move in front of Vettel.

Hm. I can't see Lewis losing 21 seconds in 4 laps even with a puncture on each corner!

What are Mercedes doing trying to by pitting Hamilton when he doesn't have a problem with tyres, Bottas has no chance of catching, more chance if Hamilton pits.

I'm just glad Verstappen got slapped into 5th by virtue of the incident. He did something worth being flipped off for and we may never know what that was.

Bottas got the short end of the stick as usual. 21 seconds behind. You can't write this stuff.

This Hamilton chap is great at winning races. And he caps it off with a fastest lap on the last lap!

Shame we didn't see the race continue with Bottas. I reckon Hamilton would have got him in the end.

Great action and racing between the top three teams other than Vettel's very poor racecraft.
