Finally an inter team battle and opportunity for under cuts, strategy and the drivers actually pushing for large portions of the race.

Ferrari seemed unsure of there race pace and tyre management - whereas Mercedes seemed quite confident.

We might be in for a decent fight tomorrow. Even if Lewis makes it past Seb, hes got to cope with that S3 performance from (maybe) Seb - if he leaps him at the start, and Charles if he doesn't.

Heres hoping we get an exciting race!

If Ferrari can manage the tyre deg then they can win the race in the shape of Vettel, if not then a win for Hamilton is on the cards.

We could be looking at Vettel's first win since August 26th 2018 at the Belgian grand prix. FOURTEEN races have passed since that victory. I actually hope he does do.it as he has been rather unfairly and unceremoniously written off at times.

With no mech failures and/or 3rd party influence, Lewis will win. Then I’m not sure between Seb and Charles. Both I feel will either be 2nd, or 4th(depending how well the Ferrari’s do) then Max.

I don’t see Dan staying top 6 either. If everyone in the top 6 teams has simple races, 6th will be a ‘win’ and 7th will be a very good result for Dan, too. Whoever comes 7th (if not in the top 3 teams) is likely DOTD for most races this year- again assuming no strangeness.

If Vettel can maintain his lead through the first lap I feel as though he has a good chance of taking the victory today. Ferrari's speed through S3 is very impressive.

Ricciardo will not maintain 4th. Impressive quali for him yesterday but in reality the only reason he took 4th was because of Verstappen being elimated and Bottas' sloppy lap.

I think it will be a double podium for the Ferrari boys today.

Either way, I'm looking forward to this one and if the Wall of Champions claims another victim this weekend a safety car could certainly make things interesting.

Yes, I also think Mercedes will be fastest in race and Ferrari, RBR will be on par. But since Mercedes are behind Ferrari it will make race interesting. Max starting P9 is also good and probably better than P4 with soft. He has to quickly get past the midfield to put pressure on Ferrari's. I think it should be good race. In the midfield Renault and Mclaren did well but since soft are not good tyres for race. So Kvyat can have another good race

Without looking, I recall the last couple of Canadian GPs being right stinkers in terms of overtaking.

Max and Bottas will rue starting so far down.

I am hoping that either they do or Lewis has to put on a masterclass in driving to win.

I am also hoping that Ferrari don't find a way to screw the pooch with some bad strategy.

I was talking to a friend at my University who is also an F1 fan (a few races ago) and he was saying that he thinks that Bottas can make a title challenge. I said I needed to see more consistency from him. So far he is looking more like a David Coulthard, brilliant on his day, but very inconsistent.

OK, i'm defending Bottas again, but I think overtaking here is much harder than some predicted. Yet again, it looks like you need a significently faster car or a mistake from the driver ahead to get past. I think Renault are so good this weekend that I wouldn't say thay are significently slower than Mercedes this time. Have a look as Gasly. He can't get past Stroll despite being on fresh tyres. Bottas just had a poor start again. I doubt he would be this far back if not for Hulkenberg getting by. He is now only slightly slower than the leaders in clean air.
