Crofty should be retired but he's clearly got friends in the right places. Who'd have thunk that you could be employed as a literal armchair expert.

There must have been tyre damage/slow puncture.

Is that a Penalty for Bottas.. you can't back the field up like that

Bottas can win this now, different strategy gives him a chance.

Hang on! Safety car is ending the first lap the cars are bunched behind it. So they cleared the debris with the cars still catching up with it. So why the holy hell did we have a safety car in the first place.

I'm guessing that Hamilton will need to look after his tyres, wrong call by Mercedes?

These cars just have no hope of driving closely together ...safety car pulls in, cars accelerate, instant 3 car length gap

I agree. You can't have one car travelling fast to get ahead whist the other team car backs off to hold people up. The safety car was for marshals being on the circuit. All should be travelling safely, not driving at different speeds to implement tactics.

Safety car periods are not for tactics to be played out in terms of speed on the track.

Thanks Poker! Well, now perhaps they'll reflect on why they made the cars wider again in the search for silly laptime records.

Could be interesting towards the end if Hamilton's tyres start to give out. Could have Vettel breathing down his neck (assuming Verstappen will get a penalty).

You know the Sky commentator is struggling when he gets excited about how close the top 4 are in terms of time gaps.

We've just had a safety car period!!!!!
