Crofty should be retired but he's clearly got friends in the right places. Who'd have thunk that you could be employed as a literal armchair expert.

Safety car, with the big gap back to Ricciardo could this impact the top 4?

Leclerc drove like a absolute dick on the way back to the pits. The drivers are letting Ferrari down.

I didn't see how he could have gotten a puncture on his right rear. :? Did he touch the rail somewhere?

Why did the pit Bottas again?....Why did they not wait for the unsafe release penalty?

There must have been tyre damage/slow puncture.

Rules and he actually hit Bottas' car.

Hang on! Safety car is ending the first lap the cars are bunched behind it. So they cleared the debris with the cars still catching up with it. So why the holy hell did we have a safety car in the first place.

I'm guessing that Hamilton will need to look after his tyres, wrong call by Mercedes?

These cars just have no hope of driving closely together ...safety car pulls in, cars accelerate, instant 3 car length gap

I agree. You can't have one car travelling fast to get ahead whist the other team car backs off to hold people up. The safety car was for marshals being on the circuit. All should be travelling safely, not driving at different speeds to implement tactics.

Safety car periods are not for tactics to be played out in terms of speed on the track.

Thanks Poker! Well, now perhaps they'll reflect on why they made the cars wider again in the search for silly laptime records.

Could be interesting towards the end if Hamilton's tyres start to give out. Could have Vettel breathing down his neck (assuming Verstappen will get a penalty).

You know the Sky commentator is struggling when he gets excited about how close the top 4 are in terms of time gaps.

We've just had a safety car period!!!!!

Hamilton will be praying for rain now if he's worried the mediums won't last.
