Blue flags on a track were you basically can't pass is stupid, ok. :?
That's the thing, you think hamilton wouldn't try a pass on a Williams with vestappen on his gearbox?

You think verstapen wouldn't fancy a pass on a hamilton held up by a Williams?

Would be far more exciting

Hard to see how Hamilton could lose this tbh, puncture, backmarkers screwing him over or Verstappen taking him out with a lunge are about all I can think of, but short of bad luck he's got it in the bag.

I imagine it will continue like this to the end.

I genuinely think Hamilton is more concerned about DNF'ing due to de-lamination than sacrificing 13 points to ensure he leaves Monaco with something.

I wonder if Hamilton would prefer 12 guaranteed point to risking losing 25 points.
I wouldn't have thought so?

Hamilton could let Verstappen by, considering it is easier do defend against Vettel, who doesn't seem as fast.
His main rival is Bottas.

Vettel is dropping back due to high temps. He has then hammered in a lap half a second faster than Lewis. Vettel has the pace like Max does, it's just a cr@p circuit.

Hamilton is a diva. He'll forget about his suffering if he wins. Where is his drive like Senna to win driving a car with a broken gearbox.

Just catching up, why is Hamilton with Mediums while all others are with hards? What's merc's idea or they just screwed with strategy, as usual on this track?

Radio 5 live seem to think that Hamilton is showboating. He knows the circuit and is moaning on the radio to influence the other teams. IF they think that Hamilton will have to come in they won't press too hard now and risk a collision.

For a "procession" it certainly does seem to be garnering lots of comments.

Looking like this will be a case of Lewis winning the race by getting to turn 1 on lap 1 first. It will be compared to Senna/Mansell in the media and next year we'll be back at Monaco watching interviews with celebs who don't care about the sport when it's anywhere other than Monaco. The greatest race of the year!!!!!

My theory is they were sure it would rain, went for the mediums to build a gap for when everyone was forced onto intermediates.

They told Hamilton he needed to talk more on the radio during the race.
Only took 7 yrs, 5 mths & 21 days.

Cooper, Arrows, Brabham, Ligier, Lotus, Tyrrell, Minardi, McLaren, Sauber, Williams,

Remember the garagista's. The heart & soul of F1. They raced to race.

Mercedes screwed his strategy
They screwed Bottas's strategy as well, as both were put on the mediums.

I don't know what Merc were thinking. Track position is king so put on the longer lasting tyres, it's a no brainer.

I'm a Ham fan, but you're right, he moans way too much, when it isn't the case.
