Any ideas who the black girl engineer(?) Is who Lewis totally blanked in the the paddock at the end of the Spanish GP while thanking his team?

It was so blatant how he did it, I felt bad for her and she was clearly embarrassed after too.

He did the same to the last two guys on that side of the paddock.

Seems to me it's mostly the mechanics he goes for, probably just going for the most familiar faces I presume.

Not an odd thread at all. I've seen this girl in the Mercedes garage since the start of the season, it would seem odd that Lewis doesn't know her.

If you see the footage which I hope someone can show, you'll see what I mean. I'm just curious that's all.

I agree, odd. There could be a multitude of reasons why.

I think it's unfair to criticize an isolated incident without knowing more context. I'm sure if cameras were following all of us constantly it would pick up occasional behavior that might initially seem questionable to others. Lord knows I'm not Hamilton's biggest fan but I don't see anything particularly eyebrow-raising with him making a beeline for his mechanics and celebrating with them. If it happens in multiple races then maybe but a single occasion is probably a non-event

I don't want to just assume but are you referring to the woman in this picture? If so she is sitting right next to Hamilton in the team photo so I'm guessing there's no hard feelings.

Its still on the C4 site. He does his usual quick up and down the line as most other drivers do, missing a few here and there. But you have got to really want it to believe Hamilton intentionally blanked her, or that she was embarrassed. Seemed quite happy in each others company at the team photo shortly after.

Funny but she actually is a Petronas hire and is primarily there for the fuels. It was a competitive hiring process as well apparently.
