If we're going to use this thread for feeder series (where there is obviously a lot more movement in the off season):
- F3 champion Schwartzman to partner Mick at Prema next year
- Dan Ticktum is back and will partner Gelael at DAMS.
- F3 runner up Armstrong moves up to F2 with ART
- Calderon admits she is unlikely to stick around.
Personally I'm hoping to see Vips get a decent F2 drive. The one driver to take it to the dominant Prema team in F3 last year.

Kimi's the only one older than me. I pray he stays in F1 for many years to come still

Well, I bet we have forumers that would need Fangio to make a comeback in order to beat that age!!!!! (ok, maybe a bit far fetched!)

I'd need Pedro De La Rosa or David Coulthard to return for me to be younger than an F1 driver

I hear there's going to be a Red Bull team run by Carlin so that might see Vips in that car?
Christian Lungaard is also in the ART car the other driver that gave the Prema F3 team some problems now and again.

I'm aware of this but there is a lot of commonality were countries border one another and share a language, Grosjean grew up racing in France a main language of Switzerland is French, Verstappen raced in both Holland and Belgium were a main language is Dutch known also as Flemish, Albon spent his formative years racing in the country he was born, England.
Having said all of that I would say that Grosjean is really Swiss whereas Verstappen is a an equal cross between a Belgian and a Dutchie and chose to be Dutch, Grosjean's and Albon's decisions were made for commercial reasons.

Silly season just doesn't include cars but teams! Latest rumour is Lawrence Stroll is seeking to buy a controlling stake in Aston Martin. If he's successful, Racing Point would be Aston Martin with typical British Green racing colours.

Why is Stroll listed ahead of Perez? Is he the lead driver or something? I mean he finished behind Perez in the WDC so what is with that?
The same with Vettel and Leclerc? They are the wrong way round.

I
believe that it's about who was confirmed for the seat first. I could be wrong, but for all the ones I'm sure about it's correct.

I think that he'll probably show up better against Kimi and Giovinazzi then he did against Russell.

Well it gives Ericsson the chance to do some other racing now, but i certainly don't think Kubica will be better than he was.

Ericsson has already signed for a full season of Indycar racing with Ganassi.
No Kubica will probably be no better than he was, he just won't look as bad as in comparison to the Alfa drivers.
