I think he knows he doesn't have a chance of passing Vettel, so he's focusing on saving the tyres.

You would think pitting so early you would go on the SS and pitting later you would go on the US, not the other way round. I guess with Bottas they had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

He's dropped back a bit though which is a bit strange.
