But when I checked with the timetable on PF1 just now, I noticed:

is it right/correct? is there any particular reason why the schedules are pushed 1 one later?
Autosport saying the same. Race starts 15:10 (local time), an hour later than before

I wonder if they're doing this for the American audience!

If they are, then its clearly not for me - I like to watch races in the afternoon anyway, and I don't much care if it's 9AM or 10AM. I'll watch it later anyway!

He set a massive purple in s3. How was there no advantage in getting over to the outside and opening up the final turn???

Edit- replying to the sky commentary team on lewis’ lap.

I do love listening to 30mins of Verstapped not going round the bollard, Crofty badly wants him to get a penalty.

What do we think the chances are of it being ready for qualifying? Similar to him being there next year(or the finish of this year...)

Edit- wow, that’s maggotted! Lol at the comm guys. “Might not make qauli” hmm, I think it might not do well for tomorrow.

Under pressure from Gasly, early days I know but I can't see Hartley in F1 next year.

No way that toro rosso can be fixed by qualifying.

Almost as irritating as listening to Horner's stock defense including Hamilton did the same, err no he didn't.

Mercedes frontrow lockout looks certain and then cruise to a one two tomorrow. Looks like our fun is over and complete domination is back.

I seem to have heard this after Australia, only Ferrari are allowed to be fastest it seems?

As much as I like Hartley, and followed him though the years at Porsche where I thought that he was pretty handy in the 919 I can’t see him lasting to much longer.

Both Mercedes and Ferrari drivers as close as could be to each other. Very competitive pairings!

I have a feeling the Ferraris are saving their Softs as they didn't bring many to the track this weekend. And the Softs look to be the quicker tyre, bizarrely, so they may be a little closer to Mercedes come qualifying. But looking good for the Silver Arrows so far

edit: I may be wrong, here. I thought the Mercs set their times on the Softs but Autosport are saying they were on the Supers. In which case it may be a breeze for the Mercs! :x

He's doing as well as Gasly. I don't understand why people have such a downer on Hartley. He's not setting the world a light but he's having a competent start to his rookie season.

No there is a pattern of Hartley being slower than Gasly and Gasly is also a rookie, Hartley also crashed in Baku qualifying, I would say a case of a driver pushing hard to match his teammate?

Very unfortunate for Hartley. Not sure if this has been mentioned but here it says Alonso will use new turbo

Is there a pattern? Apart from Bahrain where Gasly is clearly a specialist.

Incidentally if you want proof of how much difference a driver can make in the midfield you need loo no further than Gasly's Bahrain drive.

And this is why I said, ignore FP times yesterday. Ferrari is fast. Looks like my prediction of we going into 1:16s will come true. Already at 1:17.0xx.

I think if you switched the drivers around and the Williams would be well in that midfield and fighting for regular points with the Force India's.

I guess the temperatures now make the SS viable, it will look equal on the softs in Q2 and then Q3 might see Ferrari edge ahead on the SS again.

Merc not looking any better on SS than S it seems like. Ferrari can get a little bit out of the SS which should give them an advantage in Q3. Q2 saw Ferrari maybe with a slight edge but the main difference is Vettel being in good control and Hamilton making errors and not hooking up a lap.

Did they even show Vettels lap? Seems like he has barely been on screen this qualifying.

I didn't see much of him - it's an assumption on my part given Kimi's time. We could see that Hamilton was squirrely though.

PS, some analysis of the Ferrari vs the Mercedes now by Anthony Davidson. The Ferrari looks more stable.
