We have a thread about the ideal F1 team, and my question is, how would you name it?

First, there are some really cool names from the history of F1, like Shadow, Arrows, Wolf, Onyx, Toleman (sounds like some local ruler from the middle age), or Rhodesian F1 team Gunstone.

My pick would be "Aurora Borealis", "Volcano" or "Laguna". But I think my fellow forum members would come up with even cooler names.

We need a villain one, called Wolfenstein or something!

We need one called Rotam Celer (Fast Wheels).

Renegade is a name I like. Flash too (uhm).

I've always liked names that you can shoehorn into dubious puns too... something like Eternity could be pushed into a lot of fun scenarios (it took an Eternity to pass!)

Rattie Racing is my fantasy team.

('cos fancy rats are such beautiful loving intelligent companions, and they make great engineers , plus they ride with you and jump onto anyone trying to overtake you and distract them with kisses, and... )

Best name is my team name POWER Team Racing.

Originally it was POWER Studios Advertising & Design but the logo was so good I wanted to use it for paintball and then came up with a killer acronym specific to paintball which is Performance Optimized Weapon Enhancement Research. Since then, I utilize POWER for anything I do, be it business or leisure.

Most of the videogames offered in the '90s and beyond featured fictional names, mostly to avoid copyright violations. Frankly, I found these whimsical names silly, and still do.

Pierce-Arrow Racing. Might be some issues with it.

I've always wanted to name a race horse "A Horse" so, going with a similar concept with the team, i'd call it Corsa Automobile Racing, or CAR for short.

So whenever commentators refer to the team it'll simply be " The Car".

Mine would be a returning Ron Dennis team called...
