I'm guessing who's leading after the first corner wins this.

Hamilton said it will be like a train, I get that impression. Sector 3 makes it too hard to get close.

Vettel has to win this race so he's suffering just as much as Hamilton.

Looked like a very good start for Ham who was about to perhaps take 2nd place in the race. Scrappy stuff and fighting racing and contact between Vettel and Ham and both had to pit and come out 19th and 20th. Max doing the job.

Verstappen showing once again why he's the best starter in Formula One. Contact between Verstappen and Vettel and then Vettel and Hamilton.

Really clumsy from VET, looked like HAM was just trying to stay out of the way.

Vettel does look mostly at fault to me - yeah. Hamilton probably had him and Verstappen definitely had him.

WTF is Vettel doing, he first squeezed Max out of the track then hit Hamilton. Needs a penalty, but they won't give him. Max also squeezed Hamilton too much, but Hamilton backed down enough to not cause a hit, then Vettel just hit him from the side. Max and Vettel have been so unprofessional in the last several races it's mind boggling.

Racing incident IMO. Vettel's fault but no penalty required...

Imagine how many turn 1 incidents Vettel would get involved with if he was in the midfield? Two clumsy crashes in 3 corners.

I agree no penalty required but Vettel needs to think about his starts because he's scrappy and making errors in terms of wheel-to-wheel combat.

Just watch 2007-2008. He had 3 DNFs on the first lap in the first 4 races in 2008

I don't think you can squeeze too much on corner exit when you are ahead and have the racing line, so I don't blame Max for that one. It was actually lesser than the one Vettel did to him just prior to that.

I like Vettel but man... It's times like that that make me wonder if Webber's critique of his spacial awareness carries more than a little truth. This season has both elevated and sank Vettel in my opinion, strange one - has shown some outstanding moves I didn't think he was capable of, and performed some stupid moves I wish he wasn't capable of.

Alonso forcing another car off the track also hitting it causing damage he's the first to complain about bad driving.

Verstappen and Hamilton were blameless, the question is whether Vettel was responsible for his collision with Verstappen or if it was a racing incident - I think it was a racing incident. However, after damaging his front wing, he understeered into Hamilton - the hit was accidental, the cynic may question whether after making contact with the tyre he eased off of the brake pedal to make sure the puncture happened, however given how quickly it unfolds I doubt he could have reacted quick enough to ease off even if he wanted to do it.

The stewards have made the correct call.
