As per the link below, rain is expected on raceday:

Without rain even, there will be atleast 1 safety car appearance.

Seriously, though, this is part of the reason the V6 engines are healthy for F1. A lot of people in the cities that host races feel the same way as that guy.

Is this likely to cause reflective glare from a floodlit circuit?

Has there been a single Singapore GP yet that hasn't had rain forecast for the race?

"Feel sorry for me YouTube", I have only travelled halfway around the world to stay in a top hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. And the poor snowflake is still awake at 11PM! What a disaster.

Next time do some research on the local area before booking genius!

Don't see rain being an issue at all. If it does rain they won't run which is now the norm. Track will dry in about 10mins once the rain has stopped

It'll be interesting to see how Red Bull do on a track they've been historically strong at.

Would love to see Ricciardo pick up a win.

Stoffel Vandoorne leading at least one F1 table! Not really the one he should be leading, but beggars can't be choosers. Still, this year has certainly been instructive for him.

This year at Francorchamps, I was astounded to experience the noise level in the "Fanzone" during those DJ sessions. While simple earplugs were sufficient for the F1 cars, I needed extra protection there, waiting for interviews/cap throwing sessions with/by drivers. All the while seeing children there without the least bit of hearing protection.

I can sympathise with that hotel guest. Talking to a Monte Carlo resident when I was there in 1993, it is clear not everybody is happy their city gets taken over by foreign occupying forces for an entire week.

Looks like a picatinny rail. Are they going to mount some sort of optical devices on there to keep the drivers from hitting one another?

The odds for this race are quite surprising, I guess Hamilton is so favoured due to betting patterns. They do not appear to reflect reality.

Vettel - 6/4
Hamilton - 7/4
Dan - 8/1
Max - 8/1
Bottas - 8/1
Kimi - 12/1

Vettel actually seems really good value... I am tempted to place a big bet to cushion the blow when he likely wins

Hamilton will get a disproportionate amount of bets in Britain so will inevitable get a little bump from that. I think the Red Bull drivers look decent at 8/1. Especially as rain is suggested.

I was thought Red Bull might spring a surprise, until it was pointed out that they have been comfortably beaten by both Mercedes and Ferrari in Hungary and Monaco thus far, but you never know.

Even though this is in Singapore, track temperatures are actually really low here aren't they? Because it is at night?

I'd say Dan is a very good punt at 8/1

McLaren: For info, you're P7
Alonso: For info, we could be P1.
I'm bored of Alonso's whining now.

The first few times is justified. Now it's just boring. We get it, the engine is no good. Sitting their whining is not going to make it any quicker.

This weekend could be big for the championship. Red Bull should be strong but how strong? If they slot in between Ferrari and Mercedes then that they could help Vettel's title bid but with the points system being the way it is they could have a bigger impact by beating Ferrari at what is a must win race for them.

Hopefully it's as close as FP1 in any case, love this GP

Interesting horner just said on sky that there is another announcement coming in the not so distant future with RB, strongly hinted it was aston martin(not porsche), he didn't say what though.
