Countdown to 2017 Australian Grand Prix Weekend!

I guarantee you, 100%, that livery would be panned within a season if it was put on an F1 car. When Williams first introduced the Martini livery people couldn't get over how it was pretty, a breath of fresh air, a blast from the past, etc... Now it's ugly, apparently. Renault's yellow car was supposed to be exciting and different because it had a bold color scheme; now it's a wretched banana. Sauber's livery is bold primary colors in an old-school design, but it's the hideous work of an amateur too.

There is nothing so good the negativity of the F1 community can't turn it bad.

I don't think I've seen anybody call it ugly, but have seen comments about how it's done poorly/needs more red/etc...

Exediron is right in that a lot of F1 fans are the sort who, as my mama used to say, would complain if you hung them with a new rope.
