Indy Car: ABC Pocono 500

As we all well know about the incident at pit-road, now for the race report:

Will Power who missed the season opener this season now he is part of the mix of the Indy Car championship after holding off polesitter Mikhail Aleshin enroute to win his 2nd Pocono 500 race that was delayed by rain on Sunday before deciding for a Monday start followed by a hard-charging Ryan Hunter-Reay who had to start from the back after crashing during practice to finish 3rd. Josef Newgarden would finish 4th while Sebastian Bourdais seals a 5th place finish.
On lap 2, Takuma Sato met the wall on turn 3. Then there was the incident on pit-road on lap 64. This was Alexander Rossi's 1st DNF. On lap 158. series points leader Simon Pagenaud struck the wall on turn 1 that evaporated his lead. Ryan Hunter-Reay's chance to repeat his win went short after his electronics were shut down before re-setting on lap 167. A late caution for debris got him back on the lead lap. But it was "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late".
The Indy Car Series will now make their return to Texas as they will conclude the rain-delayed Firestone 600 with a re-start on lap 71. Josef Newgarden and Conor Daly will be no-shows for the event after they crashed on lap 43 before suspending the race on lap 71.
