British GP 2016

Hi Guys,
I need some advice please, I've booked to see the British GP this year and I have bought a seat at Vale and club corner in C section.
I really do not want to pay the £50.00 - £60.00 and been looking at the cheaper alternative park and ride, what I would like to know is it easy to find? and does anyone recommend a good place to go for park and ride.
I think Silverstone offers this too and so do a separate company. Also the hotels are really expensive and are getting fully booked does anyone know a good location to stay at.
