Indy Car: Dixon post best lap during 1-day test at Barber

Indy Car teams concludes a 1-day test at Barber Motorsports Park with Ganassi driver Scott Dixon taking top honors. Chevy teams pounced the track for a strong showing despite times being unofficial. and it is the 1st test without Penske's Will Power.

Coming in 2nd was AJ Foyt #41 entry of Jack Hawksworth .39 seconds behind.

And speaking of Power, Penske has announced that he has been medially cleared to return into the cockpit. It was determined that Power had no concussion. But it did confirmed that he had an inner-ear infection. And at the same time, Power had symptoms of nausea.

From Dr. Terry Trammell:
Given the nature of the inner-ear infection it would have been extremely difficult for Will to pass the SCAT, which is ultimately what led to the concussion diagnosis. At the University of Miami they conducted a week's worth of testing in one day and Will was seen by multiple physicians. The doctors concluded definitively that Will had not sustained a recent head trauma."
