Wow lucky ros (and vet) didn't steal hams pole time otherwise there would have been a huge debacle

Nico shoots himself in the foot .....
I'm not slowing down for Nico ........

Rosberg dropping back behind Lewis to copy his lines after being told on the radio they cant help him with it?

That Ferrari has speed. Double top five (including Vettel on the podium) tomorrow?

Wow! Great lap by Seb to get P2.
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Jeez Nico, you might as well wave a white flag.

Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Not a bad start to life in his new team for the non adapting Vettel.

Seb was soooo close to claiming pole, thanks to the Merc's little fracas.
Slightly disappointed said result didn't come to fruition

Possibly, but don't misjudge the times set today. On his last flyer Hamilton was purple in S1, about two tenths quicker than Vettel, but he had to abort the lap.Water wrote:That Ferrari has speed. Double top five (including Vettel on the podium) tomorrow?
That Mercedes certainly had way more speed.

I think Rosberg should focus on driving his own car first and foremost....

Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Hardly a shocker that Lewis was better than Nico in the wet. The biggest threat to Hamilton tomorrow (wet race very likely) will be from a resurgent Vettel and Ferrari. Vettel was very Schumiesque today, fabulous performance.

Bit dirty there Nico, bit dirty...
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
That was a but dodgy. If they'd have been in different teams Nico would be getting investigated now.
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
It's still pretty impressive that Nico can be coached to be faster than Hamilton! That is some serious adaptive driving. His lack of feel is holding him back.pokerman wrote:This shows how much he relied on driver coaching last season as in Hamilton's telemetry

Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
I think the whole telemetry issue gets widely overplayed. Drivers share telemetry all the time, it's nothing major. However the ban on driver coaching on the radio seems to have hurt him. It got banned after Singapore and he couldn't get close to Hamilton for the rest of the year.pokerman wrote:This shows how much he relied on driver coaching last season as in Hamilton's telemetryRunningMan wrote:I think Rosberg should focus on driving his own car first and foremost....

Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Once again Lewis fans are upset even though Lewis himself had no complaints.
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Usually, you'd expect Hamilton to drag Nico through the mud after that regardless of whether he got pole! Hamilton claims he doesn't remember. Perhaps a sign of maturity eh Zoue?
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Definitely and Hamilton has chosen not to throw him under the bus unlike last season and obviously not wanting in general to disadvantage the teamHerb wrote:That was a but dodgy. If they'd have been in different teams Nico would be getting investigated now.

That was...ironic, from Lewis. He obviously remembers it, he was up on his time.Covalent wrote:Once again Lewis fans are upset even though Lewis himself had no complaints.
Re: 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
There's a jump from stating the obvious and being upset about it. No one hear is crying that Nico hasn't been penalised for it... in fact if he really has resorted to having to follow Hamilton to copy the lines he takes then Hamilton will sleep easy tonight, because the mental battle will have been won.Covalent wrote:Once again Lewis fans are upset even though Lewis himself had no complaints.
